Let's Walk and Talk Plants

This Thursday, October 6, from 4-5:30 is Imbibe & Inspire, our monthly tour of Elizabeth Lawrence’s garden. Some of the things you will see of interest this time may not surprise you, like the perennial sunflower, Helianthus angustifolius, and hardy blue ageratum, Conoclinium coelestinum. There may be a couple of things that may surprise you, like hardy cyclamen, Cyclamen hederifolium, and a tiny autumn-blooming daffodil, Narcissus obsoletus.

This garden is always changing; it is never the same place twice. Even from one day to the next, I find the slightest nuance in the way the light hits flower and leaf brings about a different feeling to the space. And that is what makes a garden experience so special and individual… the feel of it. We each meet it in our own way, through our own lens, from our individual perspective.

One of my goals in this particular space is that it, in some way and on some level, brings Elizabeth Lawrence into sharper focus for you, whether you are “meeting” her for the first time or have known her for years through her writings. I love sharing this very special place with others.

Be one of the ten lucky folks who gets a behind-the-scenes tour once a month; register today for Imbibe & Inspire!

Can’t make it? No problem! You can still get this month’s experience virtually, via a recording that will be sent to you by the third Thursday of the month.
