About Shady Ladies: The Shady Lady Duo—aka Accent & Attitude (we’ll let you guess who’s who)—brings together decades of experience, a deep love of plants, and just the right amount of sass.

Based at Raymond’s Garden Center in Hendersonville, NC, Kay Campbell and Brenda Rosbrook are rooted in horticultural know-how and fueled by a shared passion for growing beautiful spaces.

Kay Campbell, raised in the mountains of Western North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina, holds a B.S. in ornamental horticulture from Clemson and has spent 30+ years digging into all corners of the industry—from design to farming, retail to horticultural therapy.

Brenda Rosbrook grew up in the Adirondacks and transitioned from golf pro to green thumb. A self-taught plant expert with a keen eye for landscape design, she oversees the growing operations at Raymond’s Garden Center with grit and grace.

Together, Kay and Brenda are rooted in knowledge, growing in creativity, and always ready to bring a little accent and a lot of attitude to every garden.
