Program of the month: Vermiculture
In preparation for our Spring gardening, we gotta have worms! Vermiculture (a.k.a. worm poop) is the composting process using various species of worms to create a mixture of decomposing vegetable or food waste, bedding materials, and vermicast.
Program participants will learn about the fascinating bugs we call worms, including a story, craft, and digging for worms! Participants will walk away with a small worm bin.
Register in advance. Limited to 18 homeschool students, ages 4-18 (program adapted for age of student). Younger siblings permitted with accompanying adult. Programs take place the last Thursday of each month.

Cost is $5/student.
