Program of the month: Beneficial Bugs

Did you know a worm is a bug! It is! And it’s a beneficial bug for the garden, which means they help enrich the soil to help the plants and flowers grow. There are many other bugs called insects, which are also great for the garden. Activities include a story, painting a bug rock, making an insect hotel, and going on a bug hunt.

12:00 - 1:00 pm - Exploration SEED Wildlife & Children’s Gardens, picnic lunch
1:00 - 2:30 pm - Program
2:30 - 4:00 pm - Exploration SEED Wildlife & Children’s Gardens and access to all of Wing Haven

Register in advance. Limited to 20 homeschool students, ages 4-18 (program adapted for age of student). Younger siblings permitted with accompanying adult.

Homeschool Explorer Program Registration (June)

Cost is $5/student.

Registration required for each student, ages 4-16 (program adapted for age of student).

No charge for educator/adult chaperone.

Younger siblings permitted with accompany adult.
