Visit our Birding 101 booth between 11 am - 1 pm to learn more about attracting songbirds to your own backyard and enjoy a scavenger hunt with your children.
Wing Haven’s original Clarkson Gardenis the Charlotte area’s only designated garden and bird sanctuary listed as a local historic landmark by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Historic Landmark Commission, certified as Wildlife Habitat by the National Wildlife Federation and named an eBird hotspot by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and the National Audubon Society. Elizabeth Clarkson was a founder of the Mecklenburg County Audubon Society and Wing Haven maintains a relationship with the local chapter to this day. More than 150 species of birds have been sighted at Wing Haven over the years. Join us and see how many birds you can spot!
